Stained Glass Windows at Chad Beam Funeral Services Licensee in Marion, NC
In 2016, Chad Beam Funeral Services Licensee built a new chapel. Laws Stained Glass Studios provided three leaded cathedral glass windows. These windows were designed into a nature scene by Laws' artist Vincent Ketchie. The middle window (size 48" wide x 102" high) has a river that flows into the distance with trees nearby. It represents Psalm 1: "Blessed is the man...his delight is in the law of the Lord...He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers..." The butterflies in the center window and the side windows (24" wide x 74" high) represent new life that is available in Jesus Christ. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Laws also provided light boxes for each window with LED lights. The windows are located behind the pulpit area.
These are leaded glass windows with a mixture of cathedral and opalescent glass set into light boxes.
