Stained Glass Windows at Bethany Christian Church in Arapahoe, NC

     In 1990, Laws Stained Glass Studios provided (18) hand-stained glass windows for Bethany Christian Church in Arapahoe, NC.  These windows contained full-pictorial scenes from the life of Christ.  Unfortunately, in 2007, the church burned and all the windows were destroyed.
     In 2008, Laws Stained Glass Studios was contacted by the church to make windows for the new sanctuary.  Laws made (14) hand-stained glass windows including dark bronze aluminum frames and 1/4" Lucite SAR acrylic as the protective covering.  Six of the sanctuary windows (size 36" wide x 108 high) contained hand-stained pictorial scenes of "Healing the Blind", "Crucifixion", "Last Supper", "Resurrection", "Sermon on the Mount", and "Boy in the Temple".  Two of windows (40" wide x 110" high) depicted the "Ascension" and the "Nativity".  The large center window (size 72" wide x 178" high) depicted the "Baptism" of Christ.  Two small classroom windows (size 40" wide x 72" high) had full-pictorial scenes of the "Good Shepherd" and "Blessing the Little Children".  Two round windows (size 40" diameter) are made of hand-stained glass with a floating symbol, one a chalice and the other a dove.  These windows were designed by Laws artist Vincent Ketchie and painted by Laws artist Nina Haynes.
