Opalescent Glass Windows at Amity Baptist Church in Amity, Indiana

     In 2011, Laws Stained Glass Studios installed (8) opalescent glass windows at Amity Baptist Church in Amity, Indiana.  Each window (size 53" wide x 63" high) contains a 18" x 26" hand-stained medallion with a scene from the "Life of Christ" series and a memorial plate at the bottom.  

     The windows are installed into the existing openings.  Laws removed the existing metal frames from the brick openings and installed new dark bronze aluminum frames.  On the inside, Laws set the new opalescent glass windows, and on the outside, new 1" Insulated Glass Units with Low E tempered glass was installed as the protective covering.
