Stained Glass Windows at Lee Park Baptist Church in Monroe, NC
In 2016, Lee Park Baptist Church built a new sanctuary. Along with the new sanctuary, they added a new chapel called Morgan Mill Chapel in remembrance of an older church that had combined with Lee Park Baptist Church. Laws Stained Glass Studios provided (8) opalescent glass windows for this new chapel. The four side windows (size 32" wide x 72" high with a gothic top) each contained a 12" round hand-stained glass symbol and a memorial plate. The two front windows (size 32" wide x 88" high with a gothic top) each have a 12" round symbol as well, but no memorial plate. One of these windows has a custom-made "Lamb" symbol. The gothic top transom (size 76" wide x 80" high) has a red cross and the square transom ( size 76" wide x 36" high) has a ribbon with the chapel's name.
Laws installed these windows into aluminum frames provided by the contractor, MCT General Contractors.
