Opalescent Glass Windows installed at Centre Presbyterian Church in Longview, TX

     In 2007, Laws Stained Glass Studios installed (16) opalescent glass windows for the sanctuary at Centre Presbyterian Church in Longview, TX.  Each window (size 36-1/2" wide x 50-1/2" high) included a 12" round Biblical scene from the Life of Christ except for one smaller window.  These scenes are made of hand-stained glass.  A transom (size 72" wide x 27" high with a pointed top) contained a 10" round Biblical scene.  Laws removed the existing metal frame and glass, and installed a new dark bronze aluminum frame.  On the exterior, each window was covered by 1/4" Lucite acrylic to protect it from the elements.

     In 2008, the church ordered more windows for the fellowship hall and classrooms.  Eighteen of the windows (sixteen - 35-1/2" wide x 50" high; two - 18-1/2" x 50-1/2") were made of opalescent glass like the previous ones except they did not have hand-stained artwork.  Nine of the windows were made of clear, textured glass.  All of the windows included a dark bronze aluminum frame and 1/4" Lucite as the protective covering.  Laws' removed the existing windows and installed these new windows.
