Stained Glass Windows at First Congregational Christian United Church of Christ in Hopewell, VA

In 2008, Laws Stained Glass Studios installed (14) opalescent glass windows at First Congregational Christian United Church of Christ in Hopewell, VA. The ten main windows (size 41" wide x 94" high with a round top) each have a 12" round Biblical scene and a memorial plate. The four smaller windows (size 41" wide x 79" high with a round top) have a 12" round Biblical scene and a memorial plate as well.

Laws Stained Glass Studios removed the existing wood sashes and installed the leaded windows into the existing wood frame. On the exterior, Laws installed 1/4" Lucite acrylic as the protective covering.

The sanctuary had caught on fire, and there was damaged to the windows.
