Stained Glass Windows at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Asheville, NC

In 1958, Laws Stained Glass Studios removed (8) existing windows and reinstalled them into the new sanctuary of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Asheville, NC. For the eight existing windows, Laws made a new round top to be placed on the top. In addition to the round tops, Laws made (8) new opalescent glass windows (size 41" wide x 84" high). Each window contained hand-stained glass scenes.

In 1964, one of the hand-stained glass medallions from an old existing window was broken. Laws made a new hand-stained glass scene of the apostle Paul.

In 2008, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church completed an addition to their sanctuary. Laws Stained Glass Studios removed and relocated (7) existing stained glass windows. These windows were placed into new satin aluminum frames with 1/4" Lucite acrylic on the outside as protective covering. In addition to moving windows, Laws provided (14) new opalescent glass windows with aluminum frames and 1/4" Lucite acrylic. Two of the windows (size 44" wide x 86-1/2" high) contained hand-stained glass, floating figures of Constantine and Helen. Two of the windows (size 36" wide x 123" high) contained floating figures of Angel Gabriel and Angel Michael. The other ten windows are small (size 18" x 24") clearstory windows.
